It’s a bit surprising for me when Hawaii in general was listed as one of the worst states to retire because aside from the serenity that this place offers records also show that Hawaii has the highest life expectancy rate in the US at 81.3 years. In addition, the oldest woman ever to complete a marathon was recorded in Hawaii and considers the place her second home, this just speaks to the quality of life one can have in this beautiful archipelago that some even call it paradise. I for one can attest to this having lived here for several years.

While it’s true that the cost of living in Hawaii can be a bit high most especially in the bigger cities, a lot of people actually don’t realize that they have a lot of options when it comes to living in Hawaii.
